Sewer System Backups

• More than one drain in your home is clogged
• Gurgling sounds coming from the toilet
• The shower and bath do not drain or drain very slowly
• Bad smell in your basement or yard
• Sewage backing up into the toilet or bathtub
• Toilet water level rises when running the sink

If you have a septic system, there are additional signs to look for:

• Raw sewage backing up into toilets and drains
• Algae growth in ponds that are nearby the home
• Grass over the septic system is very green even in a dry spell
• Wastewater leaking by the septic system
• Contaminated water system
